Monthly Meet Up for Neurodivergent Young Adults Ages 16 and Up
Free, monthly opportunity for neurodivergent young adults to hang out, have fun and connect with friends old and new
Join Autism Support of Central Illinois for its monthly young adult acceptance group. The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month upstairs at Erin’s Pavilion.
This monthly get-together provides neurodivergent young adults ages 16 and up an opportunity to meet, hang out and have fun.
The group is for young adults whose brains process information in a way that is not typical of most individuals. Individuals with autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Tourette’s, dyslexia and other neurodivergent conditions are welcome.
Participants can bring whatever makes them comfortable and just hang out. Items can include:
- Favorite board and card games
- Coloring supplies
- Sensory toys
- Gaming systems
- Snacks and more
