In-Person and Virtual Advanced Beginner Sign Language Classes at Moraine Valley Community College

Free virtual and in-person advanced beginner sign language classes for families with children who are Deaf and hard of hearing

Moraine Valley Community College will offer in-person and virtual Advanced Beginner Sign Language Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Participants with some sign language skills will meet on:

• March 18 to April 22 – Participants can choose to attend in-person or on Zoom
• March 19 to  April 23 – The class meets on Zoom only

Deaf instructors teach all classes in sign language and written English.

A class for beginners who want to learn sign language will be available in April.

The classes are free for families with children who are Deaf and hard of hearing from birth through high school. Extended family members are also welcome to attend.
