Audition for Inclusive Performing Arts Program “Seussical Jr.” in St. Louis
A free, fully inclusive performing arts program for kids and teens with and without disabilities ages 9 to 20
Variety the Children’s Charity of St. Louis (VarietySTL) and the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) will host auditions for “Seussical Jr.” on March 8 from 12 to 3 p.m.
COCA Kids and Variety Kids will come together to bring Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters to life onstage in “Seussical Jr.”
This fully inclusive performing arts program will run from July 21 to August 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Performances will be on:
- Friday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 9 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 10 at 2 p.m.
This program gives kids and teens with and without disabilities ages 9 to 20 a chance to shine on stage!
Participants will:
- Develop new skills such as singing, acting and dancing
- Build friendships
- Boost their confidence
Auditioning youth must:
- Wait patiently for their turn
- Follow multi-step instructions
- Follow along independently with choreography, songs and script work

Tickets will be on sale at COCA’s box office in June 2025.
