Provider Portal
Our new Provider Portal offers faster, more efficient claims processing
Our new, centralized claims and provider management system for the Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) is now live!
This upgrade is part of our continued commitment to improve service delivery and strengthen our partnerships with providers by offering faster, more efficient claims processing.
The new platform offers a new and improved Provider Portal. Please note that the new Provider Portal is not yet available for our Core Program providers.
The sections below highlight what each group of providers needs to know.
Core Program Providers
As we launch our new claims processing system, we will stop updating our previous Provider Portal at https://provider.dscc.uic.edu.
We are currently developing a new and improved Provider Portal for our Core Program-enrolled providers. We expect to launch the new portal in the coming months.
In the interim, we are enhancing our communication and support processes by:
- Including a detailed Explanation of Payment (EOP) with every provider check we issue
- Mailing an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for any claim that does not result in a payment, such as denials or requests for additional information.
These interim measures aim to support your billing and reconciliation processes while we continue to build a more intuitive and user-friendly Provider Portal.

We are happy to help with any questions you may have. Please contact the DSCC Claims Department at DSCCClaimsServices@uic.edu.
Home Care Nursing Agencies
Our new claims processing system combines NurseNet and the new Provider Portal into a single, streamlined solution to make managing claims easier and more efficient. Its benefits include:
- Submitting Claims: Home Care nursing agencies can now submit nursing claims and explanations of benefits (EOBs) directly through the online portal. This new feature streamlines workflows for agencies still using paper or email claims, speeding up payments and reducing the time spent on administrative tasks.
- Reviewing Claims: Providers can review and monitor the status of submitted claims.
- Reviewing Vouchers/Remittances: Providers can view remittance details.
New Provider Portal Access Form
If your agency has not yet completed the Provider Portal Access form, please have a designated representative do so as soon as possible.
Please include all users your agency would like to access NurseNet, the Provider Portal or both. Once you sign the form electronically, it will automatically go to DSCC for review.
