Find resources, have fun and support children with autism and emotional disabilities at the Special Education and Disability Resource Fair in Springfield
Join Sangamon Area Special Education District Central School for the “Special Education and Disability Resource Fair” on Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SASED Central School in Springfield.
Families and their children can explore a wide variety of area services and supports.
With a theme of “Navigating the School Year,” activities will include:
- Learning about and talking to representatives from local resources and organizations
- Playing in the bounce house or on the playground
- Dancing to the DJ’s tunes
- Participating in a “Cake Walk”
- Enjoying cool treats from Kona Ice Truck
- Food (all items $4 or less)
- Multiple prize raffles and more!
Be sure to stop by the Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC)’s display. Our team can answer your questions about how DSCC helps families and give you a copy of our Transition Toolkit (the Transition Toolkit is also available in Spanish).
You do not need to register.
The first 40 families will receive a free lifetime car wash pass from Green on Dirksen.
