Free holiday for area families featuring the lighting of the tree, Santa’s cottage, children’s activities and more
Join the City of Murphysboro for the Hometown Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Festivities on Dec. 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Carl Lee Park. The tree lighting ceremony will take place from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
Bring the family and celebrate the season!
The tree lighting ceremony is just the beginning. Enjoy an evening filled with holiday fun!
Activities will include:

- Free children’s activities
- Santa’s cottage
- Hot cocoa, popcorn and more!
