Winter Wonderland at Nickel Plate Station in Edwardsville
Start the holiday season with a frosty and festive journey to the North Pole!
Join the Edwardsville Children’s Museum (ECM) for “Winter Wonderland at Nickel Plate Station” on Nov. 29 from 12 to 3 p.m.
Experience the joy and magic of the season at ECM’s Nickel Plate Station.
Get your wish list ready! This frosty and festive journey to the North Pole will include a special visit with Santa Claus. Santa will arrive by fire truck at 1 p.m. Families can take photos with Santa until 4 p.m.
Guests can also enjoy holiday-themed activities, including:
- Exploring the “Into the Arctic” exhibit to ride a dog sled and try ice-fishing – all without the subzero temperatures
- Riding the Holiday Express train
- Visiting the Nickel Plate Station mailbox to write and mail a holiday letter to the North Pole
- Eating free cookies
Beverages and snacks will also be available to buy at the hot cocoa and coffee truck or pretzel tent.
All festivities will take place at the Nickel Plate Station.
Museum admission is $10 for children ages 1 to 12, and $8 for guests ages 13 and older.
Parking will be available on the Lewis and Clark campus, on Hale behind the Museum, or at Leclaire Field.
