Join the Children’s Theatre of Elgin (CTE) and the Autism Hero Project for a sensory-friendly preview of “The SpongeBob Musical: Sensory-Friendly Preview” on Nov. 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at The Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin.
Get ready for a splash-tastic musical adventure based on the beloved Nickelodeon cartoon!
This sensory-friendly performance is for people of all ages who need or prefer a calmer, less intense theater experience.
The performance will include:

Cheer on SpongeBob and his pals as they try to save Bikini Bottom from a looming volcanic eruption. This show is full of laughs, catchy tunes and a heartwarming message about friendship and saving the day.
The show runs about two-and-a-half hours with an intermission.
