Seat Check Saturday in Murphysboro

Be sure your child’s safety seat is safe and installed correctly at the Jackson County Health Department

The Jackson County Health Department will host “Seat Check Saturday” on Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Child safety seats can significantly reduce the risk of death in an accident when used correctly.

Make sure you’re using your child’s safety seat correctly. Meet with certified child passenger safety technicians who will:

• Check that your car seats are installed correctly
• Walk you through each step of the process
• Help you feel comfortable reinstalling the car seats on your own
