  support caregivers of individuals with Down syndrome. The series will cov
 er a variety of important topics from Oct. 2 through Oct. 30.\n\nLearn abo
 ut "Workplace Accommodations for Adults with Down Syndrome: What Caregiver
 s Need to Know" on Oct. 9 from 12 to 1 p.m.\n\nLisa DeMoss\, Job Accommoda
 tion Network (JAN) Cognitive/Neurological Specialist Consultant\, will pro
 vide caregivers with practical guidance on how to support a loved one with
  Down syndrome or another intellectual or developmental disability (IDD):\
 n\n 	Navigate disability disclosure\n 	Request job accommodations under th
 e Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)\n 	Access and use JAN resources\n 
 	Learn from real-world examples of effective accommodations for individual
 s with intellectual disabilities\n\nCaregivers will leave with a stronger 
 understanding of workplace accommodations\, how the interactive process wo
 rks\, and how to empower their loved one to advocate for support in the wo
