 rt series aims to help families and youth navigate the journey to adulthoo
 d.\n\nDSCC Title V Transition Specialist Claire Cook and Northern Illinois
  Outreach Specialist for Illinois Life Span Suzanne Aaron will lead these 
 presentations.\n\n"Session Two: Empowering Parents and Caregivers"  is on
  July 31 at 6 p.m.\n\nThis session is for parents\, caregivers and familie
 s of youth ages 16 and older with complex needs and/or disabilities.\n\nTh
 e presentation will focus on:\n\n 	Adult guardianship\, health insurance\,
  benefits and programs for youth with complex needs.\n 	Creating meaningfu
 l daily routines while managing evolving family dynamics.\n 	The role of s
 upport circles and how to make decisions that support youth and caregivers
  in the long run.\n\nThis session will empower families with knowledge and
