 \nJoin The Arc of Illinois' Illinois Life Span (ILS) and Family to Family 
 Health Information Center (F2FHIC) programs for "Knowledge is Power: The T
 ransition to Adulthood" on July 9 from 12 to 1 p.m.\n\nSuzanne Aaron is th
 e Northern Illinois information and outreach specialist for ILS. She is al
 so the parent of a young adult with intellectual and developmental disabil
 ities.\n\nSuzanne will lead participants in a lively discussion about the 
 transition to adulthood.\n\nTopics will include:\n\n 	Defining and creatin
 g a meaningful day/week/life\n 	Encouraging adult decision-making options\
 n 	Reviewing a checklist of action items as the child enters adulthood\n\n
 Suzanne will also provide an overview of the Illinois system and steps for
