 linois parents/caregivers of youth with autism autism spectrum disorder (A
 SD) ages 14 to 22\n\nJoin The Autism Program of Illinois (TAP) for the n
 ext Advocating for Supports to Improve Service Transitions (ASSIST) virtu
 al training program “IDHS-DRS: A Program Overview" on Jan. 22 from 6 to 
 8 p.m. Classes meet via Zoom on Mondays at 6 p.m.\n\nTransitioning from sc
 hool-based to adult service systems is challenging for many families of yo
 uth on the autism spectrum. The TAP ASSIST webinar series aims to give ca
 regivers information\, understanding and the tools for navigating their jo
 urney.\n\nThis session (Session 8) will provide an overview of the program
 s offered through the Illinois Department of Human Services' (IDHS) Depart
 ment of Rehabilitation Services (DRS).\n\nSessions run through May 13 and 
 cover a wide range of topics including:\n\n 	The transition to adulthood p
 rocess\n 	Navigating adult services\n 	Advocating for teens with autism\n\
 nEach session features an expert-led presentation and time for discussion
