SUMMARY:Swanson Sensory Swim in St. Charles
DESCRIPTION:Sensory-friendly swim time for children on the autism spectrum 
 and individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families\n\nSwanson P
 ool at Pottawatomie Park will host a Sensory Swim on Aug. 10 from 9:30 to 
 11 a.m.\n\nThis open swim is for children on the autism spectrum and indiv
 iduals with sensory sensitivities and their families.\n\nParticipants will
  enjoy:\n\n 	Fewer people in and around the pool\n 	A calm environment wit
 h minimized water features\n 	Supportive and understanding staff\n\nThe fa
 cility will open to the public at 11 a.m. Sensory swim participants can st
 ay and enjoy the pool the rest of the day.\n\nTickets are $5 per person.\n
 \nYou can buy tickets online for the Swanson Pool Sensory Swim. Space is l
 imited. You must buy a ticket in advance.\n\nThe For Scout Foundation supp
 orts this program in remembrance of Scout Cantrell and to help children le
 arn to love swimming as much as she did.
