SUMMARY:Kids Good Grief Camp in Springfield
DESCRIPTION:A day for children ages 6 to 12 who have experienced the death 
 of a loved one\n\nStaab Funeral Homes will host Kids Good Grief Camp on Ap
 ril 6 from 12 to 4 p.m.\n\nGrieving children often feel isolated because t
 hey rarely know anyone their age who has experienced the death of a friend
  or family member. Support can be beneficial in the weeks\, months or even
  years after the death of a loved one.\n\nKids Good Grief camp is an after
 noon of both support and fun\, providing children an opportunity to:\n\n 	
 Share their experiences with other children and lessen their sense of isol
 ation\n 	Help each other in their healing journeys\n 	Learn valuable tools
  to help them grieve in a healthy way\n 	Make new friends\n 	Participate i
 n a wide range of activities\n\nThe experience is for children ages 6 to 1
 2 who have experienced the loss of a loved one.\n\nA brief parent presenta
 tion will take place at the end of camp. Parents should arrive by 3:10 p.m
 . to participate.\n\nThere is a $10 registration fee. Scholarships are ava

 available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Late registration may be p
 ossible if space is available.
