SUMMARY:iCan Bike Camp 2024 in East Peoria
DESCRIPTION:A day camp for youth with disabilities ages 8 to 18 to learn to
  ride a two-wheel bicycle\n\nEasterseals Central Illinois is hosting iCan 
 Bike Day Camp from July 22 through 26. Riders will attend one 75-minute se
 ssion each day. Two sessions will be available:\n\n 	Session 1  from 2 to
  3:15 p.m.\n 	Session 2 from 3:35 to 4:50 p.m.\n\nUsing adapted bicycles\,
  a specialized instructional program and trained staff\, iCan Bike Camp he
 lps children and youth ages 8 to 18 with disabilities learn to ride a two-
 wheel bicycle.\n\nFor five consecutive days\, participants will learn to r
 ide while spotters accompany and encourage them. Camp staff adjust the bik
 es during the week to help riders learn to balance as they gradually disco
 ver the skill and joy of riding.\n\nA parent or guardian willing to interv
 ene or assist staff as requested must accompany participants. Other requir
 ements include:\n\n 	Attending all five days of camp\n 	Having a minimum i
 nseam of 20 inches\n 	Weighing less than 220 pounds\n 	Walking without ass
 istive devices and being able to side-step to both sides\n 	Willing to wea
