SUMMARY:I Can Du It! Adaptive Duathlon in New Lenox
DESCRIPTION:An adaptive duathlon (a modified run-bike-run race) for childre
 n and young adults ages 4 to 30 with developmental delays and disabilities
 \, their families and friends\n\nJoin BDI Playhouse Children’s Therapy a
 nd Lincolnway Special Recreation Association (LWSRA) for the I Can Du It! 
 Adaptive Duathlon on Sept. 21.\n\nThe first wave will begin at 8 a.m. Addi
 tional wave start times will be available after race registration.\n\nIf t
 he weather is a safety risk\, the rain date will be Sept. 28.\n\nGet ready
  for an epic race where participants of all abilities can join the action!
 \n\nChildren and young adults ages 4 to 30 with differences\, including ce
 rebral palsy\, autism spectrum disorder\, Down syndrome\, spina bifida\, a
 nd other disabilities and delays\, can use their adapted bikes\, wheelchai
 rs\, or two-wheelers to complete the course.\n\nRacers will have a volunte
 er buddy or parent:\n\n 	Cheering them on\n 	Timing and counting laps\n 	P
 roviding assistance\n 	Ensuring safety\n 	Making sure they have fun\n\nOpt
 ions are also available for siblings and friends to race.\n\nAll participa
 nts must bring their own wheelchairs\, walkers\, adapted bikes\, bikes wit
 h training wheels or other assisted devices. The event will not provide bi
 kes on race day.\n\nThe race price is $40 for the first racer and $35 for 
 any additional racer within the same family. Registration will close on Se
 pt. 1.\n\nRegister for the I Can Du It! Adaptive Duathlon on LWSRA's websi
 te.\n\nLWSRA will receive all profits from this event.\n\nIf you have ques
