DESCRIPTION:An in-person and online (hybrid) convention for people with dev
 elopmental and intellectual disabilities\, their families and providers\n\
 nJoin The Arc of Illinois for its 74th annual convention on May 1-2. This
  year's theme is "Advocacy for All."\n\nThere will be two full days of pre
 sentations and breakout sessions for online and in-person attendees.\n\nTh
 is year’s hybrid event will include:\n\n 	Keynote speaker Tom Pomeranz\,
  PhD\, on “Supported Routines – Best Practice Strategies for a Fulfill
 ing Life”\n 	A panel of parents sharing about “Advocacy from a Parent
 ’s Perspective. The Difference You Can Make Now”\n 	Sessions on a vari
 ety of topics in both English and Spanish\n 	An art exhibit and silent auc
 tion\n\nRepresentatives from the Division of Specialized Care for Children
  (DSCC) will also present about our programs and the transition to adultho
 od for youth and young adults with special healthcare needs.\n\nVirtual at
 tendees will have access to the welcome\, keynote\, plenary and two breako
