DESCRIPTION:A two-day conference to empower both professionals and caregive
 rs in the autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities community
 \n\nThe Autism Program of Illinois and Hope will host the "TAP N2 Hope Con
 ference 2025" on April 29 and 30.\n\nThis two-day in-person and online con
 ference will feature two unique tracks. The tracks aim to help professiona
 ls and caregivers in the autism and intellectual and developmental disabil
 ities community gain the valuable insights and practical skills they need.
 \n\nTAP N2 Hope will feature keynote speakers with autism:\n\n 	Haley Moss
 \, a lawyer\, neurodiversity expert\, and the author of four books\, on s
 upporting girls and women with autism\n 	Russell Lehmann\, an activist\, m
 otivational speaker\, and acclaimed author and poet\, on being "of" the co
 mmunity\, not just "in" it\n\nBreakout sessions will include the parent pa
 nel\, "Navigating Our Journey\," and other topics such as:\n\n 	Incorporat
 ing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) into Early Interventi
 on services\n 	Planning self-advocacy in tough times\n 	Sensory processing
  and self-regulation keys to success\n 	Bridging gaps through trust and eq
 uity in autism and mental health support\n 	Fostering neurodiversity-affir
 ming care and more\n\nThe cost for a family member/caregiver is:\n\n 	$75 
 in-person\n 	$50 virtual\n\nIn-person registration includes a continental
