SUMMARY:Explore Your Future Program at the National Technical Institute for
  the Deaf in New York (Session II)
DESCRIPTION:An opportunity for college-bound students who are deaf or hard-
 of-hearing juniors and seniors to explore career options in business\, com
 puter science\, engineering\, health sciences and more!\n\nJoin the Roches
 ter Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf (N
 TID) for "Explore Your Future." Session II will run from July 13 to 18.\n\
 nExplore Your Future (EYF) is a six-day career exploration program at the 
 Rochester Institute of Technology. The program is for college-bound high s
 chool students who are deaf or hard of hearing and who will enter their ju
 nior or senior year in fall 2024.\n\nThis program focuses on:\n\n 	Persona
 l  growth and career awareness for students as they begin thinking about 
 college\n 	Gaining hands-on experience in a variety of career areas\, incl
 uding art\, business\, health sciences\, information technology\, and more
 \n 	Experiencing life on a college campus\n 	Making new friends from all o
 ver the country\n 	Having fun\n\nStudents will also work with career couns
 elors and faculty in small group settings to build confidence and determin
 e their interests and learning styles.\n\nOn the final day of each session
 \, EYF offers a parent/guardian workshop providing strategies for ensuring
  your student has a successful transition from high school to college.\n\n
