DESCRIPTION:Learn about area resources\, recreation opportunities\, and try
  out adaptive equipment and activities at this free event for people with 
 disabilities\n\nJoin Prairieland Adaptive and the Bradley University Docto
 r of Physical Therapy Program for the first "Adapt and Conquer Expo" on Se
 pt. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Bradley University Markin Famil
 y Student Recreation Center in Peoria.\n\nThe expo will open at 10:30 a.m.
  and include:\n\n 	A resource fair from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.\n 	An acti
 vities fair from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.\n\nCentral Illinois youth and adu
 lts with disabilities can:\n\n 	Talk with community businesses and organiz
 ations that support individuals with disabilities\n 	Learn about area adap
 tive sports opportunities such as wheelchair basketball\, pickleball and m
 ore\n 	Explore various options and try out adaptive equipment geared for i
 ndividuals with physical disabilities and visual impairments\n\nThe event 
 is free and open to friends\, caregivers\, teachers\, students\, clinician
 s/providers\, fitness instructors/personal trainers and others interested 
 in learning how to support individuals with disabilities better.\n\nCheck
