DESCRIPTION:Free "touch-a-truck" event featuring a quieter half-hour experi
 ence for people with sensory sensitivities and an afternoon hoedown filled
  with music and fun for all ages!\n\nJoin the Park District of Highland Pa
 rk for two family-friendly events on Sept. 27.\n\n 	Catch the "Big Rigs an
 d Boots: Touch-a-Truck Event" for its quieter\, sensory-friendly experienc
 e from 9:30 to 10 a.m. The event will end at 11 a.m.\n 	The "Highland Park
  Hoedown" will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.\n\n"Big Rigs and Boots" is a fal
 l favorite for kids who love things that go vroom!\n\nEnjoy climbing aboar
 d and:\n\n 	Exploring an exciting lineup of trucks\, tractors and emergenc
 y vehicles\n 	Meeting the people who operate them\n 	Making memories\n 	Sn
 apping some great photos\n\nThe event will also feature Habitat for Humani
 ty’s Adopt-a-Stud program. Participants can color a wood stud for a futu
 re house and learn more about Habitat’s work in Lake and McHenry Countie
 s.\n\nAfter the big rigs move out\, the "Highland Park Hoedown" will kick 
 off with:\n\n 	Music\n 	Dancing\n 	Festive fall fun!\n\nBoth events are fr
