SUMMARY:17th Annual Empower All Abilities Conference in Springfield
DESCRIPTION:A free conference dedicated to supporting and celebrating stude
 nts of all abilities and their families\n\nSpringfield Public Schools and 
 a supportive community of advocates will host the 17th annual "Empower All
  Abilities Conference" on Nov. 15 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\n\nThis in-per
 son conference for families\, educators and professionals focuses on conne
 cting\, learning and building skills to support students of all abilities.
 \n\nHighlights will include keynote speaker Dr. Shelley Moore. Dr. Moore i
 s the creator of "Five Moore Minutes\," a website with videos dedicated to
  empowering teachers\, schools and classrooms to support all learners. Usi
 ng just five-minute chunks\, she provides insight into:\n\n 	Resources and
  research\n 	Professional development activities\n 	Advocacy tools for par
 ents\n 	Inspiration for sharing\, clarifying the message\, and supporting 
 the goal to make education accessible to children of all abilities\n\nThe 
 conference will also offer:\n\n 	Browsing booths and talking with local\, 
 state and national vendors and service providers\n 	Networking opportuniti
 es\n 	Engaging sessions\n 	Hands-on activities designed to empower and ins
 pire\n\nOur Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) team members 
 will also be there to answer your questions and explain how we help childr
